Education
How do we educate in a rapidly changing world?
Ninety percent of well-paying jobs today require postsecondary education or training. Ensuring that every person is well-educated increases our local and national competitiveness.
By incorporating global perspectives, students strengthen their understanding of the intricacies and benefits of international interdependence.
Retention and the transfer of concepts to other experiences are improved when learned in real-world environments.
By encouraging students to pursue curiosity and ask — and attempt to answer — big questions, we transform how they think and live.
Critical thinking cultivates substance and true intellectual discipline, requiring rigorous self-reflection, open-mindedness, perseverance and integrity.
